LEH

A moving shot, just above leh on the way to khardungla, highest motorable road.
Many of the roads outside of leh town look like this one, where one really feels the road and the surrounding, nothing else!

Glimpses of white sheet across the mountains, giving clear visuals of whats cooking above!

Somewhere in Nubra Vallley, where i noticed the clear distinction between the cool shadows and the bright dry desert with not a soul in sight!

Glimpses of Nubra Valley from the highway, what follows are typical post card pictures, giving all a feeling of peace! As soon as one hits the valley and looks at all this, you can clearly make out shapes of the clouds in the most unbelievable ways, one certainly feels the Greater Power that exists above all!

Entering a village in Nubra Valley, heading to one of the few fully organic resorts situated here with all the modern amenities.

what follows are some of the glimpses on the Nubra desert as i like to call it, one of the very rare places where one can experience the double -hump camel rides into the desert as one of my mates experienced for himself as he disappeared into the horizon. some of the shots i had taken just came out naturally, it is very true when one says that all one needs to do is get to the right places at the right moments, and one can get some of the most breath taking shots, and personally i feel some of these shots truly are just that!

black and white!

dust on the spur!
